Not Just another flour Brand, A mission to eradicate malnutrition through “Roti”

Established in 2020, team Wheatfactory has revolutionized traditional Chaki milling value chain with innovative products, farm integration and digitalization. WheatFactory is known as digital brand for FARM-TO-FORK premium quality whole grain flour and artisan products.

The “BRAND”

The name WheatFactory is driven from the concept of traditional (Chakki) mill which grinds whole grains to form unadulterated, unbleached and unprocessed flour and other products. Established in 2020, the brand has gained great recognition for delivering high quality products using local and international farm produce.

WheatFactory used “Direct-to-Consumer” strategy by having its own farmers network (visit us at www.sungreenfarms.pk), production and packing facility, Dealership Stores, Digital and Retail Partners, to make sure that purity is delivered on-right place at the right price on the right time. The key is to provide affordable, natural and healthy whole grain Flour and finished products to customers while maximizing value and sustainable growth of farmers and entire supply chain.

Enabling Digital Financial Inclusion by enabling Community farming through Project SUNGREEN

Through our own Sungreen farms, team WheatFactory has educated farmers on scaling up their supply chain for better visibility and access to market. Key projects include:

Digital Financial Inclusion through Farm Produce: Our team has enabled digital payments for more than 5000 farmers in remotest areas which making sure that they produce according to market standards:

• • Desi Anda Travels: Sungreen Fresh produce is a cold chain that supports and facilitates transfer of fresh desi eggs from small scale and low-income households to commercial centers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Each egg travels approx. 400km but stays fresh and a complete share is given to the farmers.
  • Corn-Silage: This project included capacity building of farmers and buy back arrangements of corn silage to support the community while generating value for all

• Community Farming: This Component is designed for a group of small scale & medium scale farmers. Having 5 to 10 acres of land. One group may consist of 20 farmers in one Cluster. 50% women farmers are equally encouraged for community farming program. One cluster consists of 200 acres of land. Famers are educated and supported to provide produce according to market standards and global demand. Delivery for more than 5 Years, Sungreen Farms has been able to generate impact for more than 200,000 families in remote areas of Thal Desert
• Contract Farming: This is a commercial venture which supports medium and large scale farmers to reach out to a larger customer base in B2B scale, where by;

• • Production is the responsibility of the farmer.

SCALING UP NUTRITION through “ROTI”

At Wheatfactory research center, we are in continuous process of finding the most nutritious grains and solving malnutrition through Roti by developing flours which are pure, natural and provide highest level of nutrition with out the use of artificial ingredients.

Wheatfactory has done its work to deliver and safeguard nutrition accorss its supply chain and developed Pakistan’s 1^st Multigrain Flour that is High in fiber and protein compared to conventional wheat flour.

WHETAFCTORY “GLUTENFREE” MULTIGRAIN

Our team believes in inclusion and in process of scaling up nutrition for all, Wheatfactory dedicated a team to develop GlutenFree Multigrain Recipe to support clients with specialized needs while ensuring highest standards of nutrition and purity across supply chain.

Under the project, a dedicated facility for Gluten-Free preparation of wheat free recipes was established and products are prepared in highest care.
